Swedes Inn introduces outside dining
Big city restaurant scene in the heart of South Jersey
SWEDESBORO, N.J. The historic Swedes Inn recently introduced outside dining allowing diners to enjoy its new, big city creative menu as well as the warm evening breezes in the heart of downtown Swedesboro.
The outside dining area seats 24 and allows diners to soak in the ambiance of Swedesboros new streetscape beautification project. New brick paver sidewalks, antique lighting and floral potting arrangements now accentuate Swedesboros historic architecture as it undergoes a rebirth.
As Swedesboro continues its revitalization efforts, we thought now would be the perfect time to introduce outside dining, said Swedes Inn owners Toni and Mark Beltz. Dining alfresco is another great way to experience the increasing buzz surrounding our exciting new menu.
The Swedes Inns new menu features creative cuisine such as a soy glazed tuna served over sesame-peanut noodles with crispy shrimp wontons and mango coulis as well as a carmelized duck confit, a Turbinado sugar-crusted duck leg served over green chile rice with a molasses-port reduction.
Additional menu items include: pan seared jumbo scallops served over a lobster hash of fresh Maine lobster, peppers, celery, onions, potatoes, apple smoked bacon and rosemary and a grilled Kobe NY strip steak served over white truffle and chive mashed potatoes with sautéed patty pan squash and sweet creamery butter.
The Swedes Inn is located at 1301 Kings Highway in Swedesboro. To make a reservation, please call 856-467-2052. The Swedes Inn is open Monday through Thursday from 4:00 to midnight, Friday from 11:30 am to 2:00 am, Saturday from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am, and Sunday from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
